Hi Guys�. anybody out there??

Do you happen to have pictures of the Porsche GT1
LM98 Test car?
I am currently building and am in desperate need of original reference
material.

Hello Fola

Not much chance of finding pics of the real car on the web, as the "test car" only ran a very short period in its nacked carbon birthday suit. During pre season testing ( meaning late 1997). By "prequalification" time @ La Sarthe (may 1998) it was already in full works dresscode.

I'll have to dig into my old archive of Autosport magazine, see if there's an article of the Gt1's rollout.

Otherwise you'll have to dig deep...into your pockets that is....know that there's an excellent book on the 98 GT1...saw it at the bookshop in Le Mans...something like 150�

for now this is the best I can do...but you've undoubtably have seen this pic before...from what I remember of the car...its quite accurate

Thanks Mr T, the damage is done and the body is covered in cabobon instead of kevlar� still looks hot and since there is little or no evidence, who is to say whats
right or wrong ;-)
