Big Wheels Race 2008
sloefspeed - 14-6-2008 at 07:29

Hi guys (and girls...)

just informing you all that September 20 is the date planned and agreed for the Big Wheels race 2008, and not September 6, as erratically mentioned on the "Coming Events" list. Would someone of the admin's correct the date before this starts to live a life of it's own and lots of people get confused.

Thanks in advance,

VBR

Raymond

Hi Raymond,

Fola and Gert organise this event because Fola won last time. 6-9 is the date we got....

Hello Guy's and Ga'll

After checking differend calendars and talking with Fola we have both agreed that the date for the Big Wheels is going to be the 15th of November.
This will give all the team who wants to join the race enough time, to deside if they want to enter and build a car.

September 20 was a option and never set as the final date.

Hi all.
Sorry about the confusion.
I initially proposed the 20th sept and later realized that i would not be able to make
it on that day.
The 6th was later suggested and then appeared on the forum.
Gert and myself propose the 15th Nov as an alternative to the 6th.
I hereby ask all interested to let me know what the general preference is. 6/9 or 15/11

Thanks for your understanding,
Fola

In the weekend of 6-7 September a new track open It's doors in Charleroi Belgium,
they have build a Carrera 1/24 track with the layout of Suzuka.
I have the feeling there will be a lot of Belgian racers going down to the track to race there
a 1/32 24hr race with a David system.

Hello Gert,

You are right Gert :holy

The 15th of November would surely be better for the Big Wheels race.

Have a nice day,
Philippe.

Just one caveat: from October on Titanic Bowling Center will be busy with company fall/winter/xmas parties almost every weekend. Most likely we will not have access to the extra room(s) for our paddock. It's not a huge issue but one aspect to keep in mind when planning for fall/winter races at Alsdorf.
