Grip and Rubber are some of the most important factors in a slotcar competition.
As of round 3 all the LMS teams will use control tyres during the races. Complete rear wheels (rims with the tyres already glued on them) will be supplied by the Organization.
This way all teams will be on the same rubber with the same compound specifications.
A step forward in the fairness of the competition.
Preparation
There still remains some work to bedone, as the Teams must sand down the tyres to their desired diameter. Grip additives and cleaning fluids will still be controlled and supplied by the LMS organisation
