Often mistaken for the 1991 Le Mans winning 787B because of its similar dayglow orange and green livery, this kit depicts the earlier 767B, which competed at Le Mans in 1989 and 1990.
The 'Charge' sponsored 767B chassis nr.002 as depicted in this kit finished 2nd in class, 9th overall in the 1989 Le Mans 24hrs race with entry number 202.

The kit is a kerbside with the axles fixed to the chassis (no steerable front wheels). Cockpit interior is well detailed and faithfully copied and even including the main instrument readout on the decal sheet. Optional parts are included for doing a sprint-race version. Do note that for Le Mans the bulges on the door windows have to be sanded flush and polished.
Body parts are molded in bright orange, chassis and cockpit parts are molded in black.

Despite the comprehensive decal sheet, all green, black and orange squares of the paint scheme have to be masked and painted, making this kit suitable for experienced modelers only. Tamiya X-28 'Park Green' is a close match for the green used in this color scheme.
The side of the box lid shows some useful pictures of the real car during the 1989 Le Mans event
