BRM is a European leading company in the manufacturing and wholesale marketing of accessories for model cars and complete slot models. The company was founded in 1980 by Umberto Codolo, a Tuscan artisan with roots in Veneto, who built an unparalleled reputation as a manufacturer of top quality accessories for 1:43, 1:18 and 1:8 scale model cars.
In 2003 BRM moved its headquarters to Badia Polesine with a mission to combine the superior quality of its products with a wider scale economy, so as to reach more companies and enthusiasts worldwide. Today, BRM produces millions of tyres and other accessories every year and is proud to count among its clients many of the leading manufacturers of model car kits and assembled cars.
In 2004 BRM was ready to further expand its horizons and take up new challenges in the slot models market. After three years of research and testing, in February 2007 BRM brought to the market its first complete slot car model, BRM 1:24 Porsche 962C, which immediately started to appeal to thousands of slot enthusiasts worldwide and received excellent reviews from the international specialized press.
We at BRM believe that 1:24 is the scale that best enables a driver to establish an emotional connection with a slot car.
