Summary of the event
Endurance for teams with GrC/WSC cars as raced in the period 1982 -1993 @ Le Mans and or the WSC.Team composition of min 2 max 3 drivers, race to be run in 3 runs (Day, Night, Day).
Tech rules based on German Le Mans Legends; meaning free chassis, sponge rubber and Fox II motors, Injection moulded plastic, Resin cast and GRP/GFK laminated bodies. As in the DTSW and Le Mans legends the final results of this event will be determined by the combination of both concourse (max 20 pts ) and race (max 50 points )

A Modelcar racer's hommage to the World Sportscars
The GrC/WSC era spanned more than a decade, is well documented and has a wide availability of kits & decals, so there are plenty of Icons to choose from. With the event taking place at one of the finest model(slot)tracks in the world, the grid deserves to be filled with no less than the finest of modelcars. We hope that besides the usual GrC suspects (962, C9, XJR8-9 etc. etc) the event also inspires teams to enter more exotic cars such as the Peugeot 905, Sauber C11- C291, Jaguar XJR14, Toyota TS 010 etc etc.

The challenge of modelcar racing is to combine scale with speed. Two things that admittingly are not the best of bedfellows. Including Concourse points into the final results will certainly be a motivator to keep both in the right proportions, but as a safeguard, the TC will also be firm on scale appearances of those items as wheelsizes, wheelcovers and last but not least correct types of spoilers and bodyshapes.

List of allowed Cars & Liveries
To maintain a good diversity of diferent cars we will allow no more than 3 liveries of each type of car. Entries for this event are on invitation base only, meaning that teams can request a car from the list of Allowed cars & liveries but it is at the Organisation descretion to honour this request.
How does this work? Well let's say that there's no use for the "Top Guns" of modelcar racing to try to get an entry with cars like a Sauber C9, Jaguar XJR8-9 or a chopped up Porsche 956/962. Come on guys..... you can do better than that;). It might still be possible, but only if there are no more than 2 "other" requests for the same type of car!

We are currently updating our database so that it will include all period cars including the more exotic types, this is a lot of work so this will take time.
If the car that you want to enter is not yet in the list of Allowed cars & liveries, you can send us a request to add your car by supplying us with a car datafile.see this example.
This file must contain:
1 image of min 600x300 pix with source & copyright reference.
info on the car and event it participated with source & copyright reference.
If you mail this data sheet to tamar@slotracinglemans.com together with your registered teamname, the car will be added to the list under your entry.

Note/Update: Although the date has been confirmed, we are still finishing the final details, which means that all Entries made by teams are provisional. When all details are set, every team will recieve a mail with the event details and a confirmation that their choosen car/livery has been accepted by the LMC. The teams will have 14 days to confirm their entry and pay their entry fees.
More details wil follow as work on this event progresses.

With kind regards : Tamar Nelwan
