Hi gys,
The postman rang twice this morning and I picked up the F430 from Nick at my local post office. It for sure looked great and I can’t wait to start
working on it
I’ll try to post some picks here of process, so that you all can follow a rookie building this kind of car for the first time
PS Tamar. It would be much appreciated if you could give the status on the decal printing
Guys, can someone please post some Pics of the new body!
regards
Big Al

The car still need som finishing with sandpaper and some more dremeling before we can put on the black paint, but we'll get ther soon
The guy on the middle pic is Børge helping us with the last finnishing tuch on putting a small edge for gluing the windows. He has a more steady hand
than me

Hello Rolf
I saw on the norwegian forum that you had a little mishap with the body. but I also see a lot of primer! Easy on the primer Rolf...you'll loose a lot
of detail and sharpness that way.
yea, have a small crack, after holding it a bit hard during sanding Got some
good advice from Nick regaarding fixing it. Involving thin super glue :-)
Had no time to do anything about it to day. Had race day on the Damstredet club running 1:32 F1. 14 cars on the grid. Had pole in both races but
fu**ed it up in the finals with one 4th and one 2nd
The car is getting closer to "the night shift". A little bit too shiny (looks a bit more shiny than it real is in the pics), but it have to do for
the Oslo race
Are continuously learning so the second car for EEC round two will hopefully be a bit better Especially since we will learn a bit of decaling secrets
from the RhF gang at the late shift in Oslo
It doesn't matter that the car is too shiny now, you can give it the 'shinyness' you want with the correct clearcoat, flat, semi-gloss or gloss.
