Hello Philippe
THX for the info, too bad to hear from your mishap....

But in the land of the blind the cyclops is king.
You"ll probably still see more than most bi -occulars.

By the way, my alias is due to the loss of my left eye 3 months ago, and my moniker is now "Doctor Willibald P. von Cyclops", as one of my friends posted on the web. I laughed and adopted it.
Best regards,

Philippe

Hi Tamar, here we go:

Overall length: 189mm
Overall width: 87mm (side skirts)
Width at side body panels: 82mm
Overall height at top of headrest: 40mm
Wheel opeing diameter FR: 27.5mm RR: 29mm
Height under rear axle at center: 15mm
Weight when completed comparable to Carrera BMW body.

The car will fit a sidewinder FK can such as the TSRF motor but may need an inline configuration for a taller motor.

We now put it online on an automatic shopping center here.
Best regards,

Dr. Pea

THX Dr Pea for the elaborate reply.

Hi Tamar,
The high production costs mean that we cannot release this model to retailers. So it is sold directly through the Electric Dreams shopping center. It will be posted today.
The body is scale, meaning that the extreme edges of the body sides measure 87mm. Since this is part of the "side-skirting", it can be sanded flat and reduced to 82mm if needed.

The kit consists fo an un-painted or pre-painted body (of which some excess weight for the TSRF body mounts can be easily trimmed), clear headlight inserts, undertray diffusers, wing, clear-plastic cockpit, 3-piece driver (helmet, body and push-button steering wheel), fire estinguisher, dashboard, rear view mirrors, etched-metal gas caps, rear body panel, undertray diffuser sides, wing support and braces (we will also have a complete Lexan wing for serious racing), plus an extensive decal sheet that virtually eliminates any need for paint except for the driver.
Here is a picture of the parts:

Hello Dr Pea ?!

Glad to see the Courage is finally ready, but it was worth waiting for. Kit looks nice, decals look sharp.
Can you give me the body dimensions so we can include the Courage in our database?

From what I can see on the picture the TSRF Chassis must be less than 82mm wide, or the Courage body is 85mm?.

Last but not least, manufactured by TSRF or Electric Dreams?

p.s. new alias?

The body kit includes: pre-painted body, extensive set of decals, 3-piece driver with correct steering wheel, seat, fire estinguisher, etched metal wheel inserts, gas caps, wing mount and struts, clear headlights allowing the use of Xenon lights. This body mounts straight over a TSRF chassis with two screws but can easily be mounted on many other chassis.

Here is a pic of one next to a Carrera Audi R8 for size comparison:

Available from Electric Dreams at $129.95 for the painted kit.
Regards,

Dr. Pea :)
