Ooooh yes! Amazing, thx a lot tamar :)

But, the first picture you show is an Escort MKII, I checked the revell site and indeed it's an MKII. I didn't know they would bring out the car, great news! I am sure a lot of trans kits will be released for that car! My brother drives such a car irl btw, yes, not the standard version but with wider body ;)

Thx for the search tips.

Hello Haco
Looks like you won't have to search for that rare Esci kit, you just have to be a little bit patient.
Revell has announced this Escort Mk1 for the 2nd quarter of 2005
http://www.modellversium.de/kit/bilder/446-07374__S_FORD_ESCORT_KATALO.jpg

Michael Gräber of Automobil miniaturen.de has announced that he will make Gr2 and Gr 4 transkits for the Revell escort.

Also German Modellist and slotracer Thomas Spicker has made some resin Escorts (see pic below) for their gr 2/4/5 races. If you want I can mail you his e-mail adress

Search tips in general
If you are looking for info on a certain kit and do not know where exactly to start looking.. you could try some Google tricks

As our eastern neighbours the Germans have, by far, the most active modelcar slotscene in Europ, try using the german version of google www.google.de
If you use German spelling for your search input: "Resine" instead of "resin" and "Bausätz" instead of "modell kit" it will search the German pages first.

That's how I found the "Spicker" escort kit and also the info on the CTR and Revell kits.

Haco, the body is an old Esci 1/24 kit. On Ebay.de you can sometimes find a kit new in box.
Prices around 30,- if you're lucky and more.
