Hello Friends,

As I have said before, I am a relatively new face at IMCA compared to many of you. And a face that is not in your own backyard . . . although I am working at that. At my first IMCA event only a few years ago I arrived very late to the venue to hear someone say "ah, the last Canadian" and then to hear JPvR remark "the lost Canadian". It remains an interesting juxtoposition in my mind when he describes me as his 'successor' when this year comes to a close. There is no 'successor' to JPvR as we all know, however I believe that the succession of IMCA is of value. I also believe that it is a good time for everyone to have a say, a word or two about IMCA's future . . . not the past . . . as we head down the road.
