Danes of Thunder 2004
Danish Model Car Association NASCAR 2004
So finally the first season of Danish NASCAR model car racing is over, organised by Danish Model Car Association and with a total of 36 competitors
attending different races thru the year.
It has been a tough year with a steep learning curve for both organisers and competitors. We have been given tough blows by some drivers for minor
changes in the race direction etc. but, hey that’s how it will always bee I guess.
The bottom line is that we have had a very healthy series that has opened the eyes of the Danish drivers for 1/24 model car racing. Right now we DMCA
has three race series planed for 2005.: NASCAR, LMS and CLASSIC. We already have a very healthy following for all classes so 2005 should se even more
growth in model car racing in Denmark.
Back to the NASCAR races. We have a final result of our race series that looks like this.:

The above list is also the final ranking of all danish model car racers for 2004. And as the local champion Martin Borch has allready been put forward
to represent the danish colors at the 2005 IMCA worlds.
For 2005 the ranking will also take into considderation the results of the LMS and Classic series.
