New
Series in South Germany
On Sunday 26 a new race series started in the Munich area, the
Bavarian Le Mans Series.
The BMLS is an independent organistion using several club tracks
in Southern Germany.
2 more races are scheduled until May, but extra events are in
the pipeline.
Summarised Rules
The Series events are individual sprint races, rules allow
all chassis and all (A)LM(S) type bodies. Motorisation is by
Hand out Plafit Bison MKIII, easilly switched by a standadised
plug system (no more soldering!) a system that LMS tech director
was also considering. Tyres must be of the Wiesel/ Ortmann type.

Usual suspects!
The Championship kicked of with a race at Nürnberg. Nine
cars started in the first event, amongst them seven belonged
to the usual suspects (Nissan,CLK,etc) some off them with operational
lights. But there were 2 cars that deserved more interest; under
the free chassis rules, one of the Panoz'ses was reported to
have a Front Engined chassis! We'll see if we can get some pictures.
The second car was this good looking Autoexe Riley & Scott
prepared and entered by Mr Uhl.
There is little doubt to why this was the Concourse winner at
the BLMS Opening race....
Its absolutly stunning!!!

Beauty and a beast?!
BLMS rules include Concourse
points in the final results.
Although not first in the race the Riley did take the overall
winn.
Who says that beauty doesn't pay.
