DT Racing wins Open German Plafit Championship.
During the last weekend of October the Deutsche Plafit Meisterschaft was held under the new EPC rules on the high speed 8 laner at Mörfelden.
Big as the German Modelcar scene may be, its not often that you'll see racers from all parts of the country assembled at one track.
But with 24 teams entering the Championship and more than 75 pilots present, the Rhein Main Race center was fully packed with the creme de la creme of Germany's modelracers.

So high was the level of competition that in a closely contested Final, DT Racing team from Seligenstadt won the German Plafit Masters with a mere 9 sec lead.
After 2hrs of racing their Mazda 787b beat the Porsche 962 of runner up Didi Thowe by 2 laps. It was fitting finish of a true endurance weekend in which both drivers and cars were be heavily tested. Even the Race direction had to use all their improvising skills to keep things under control, but in the end they could look back at a successful event.
